Introduction

Department of Economics was established in 1990. Department offers UG (Aided)  programmes in Economics. The department conducts regular classes and all the co-curricular activities in accordance with the academic calendar of the college and the university. Informative and interactive lectures are held and sample study material is being provided to the students for their overall development. Students achieve top rankings in university examinations. Students in the department are encouraged to pursue higher studies to enhance their knowledge and compete in various national and state-level competitive examinations. All the teachers of the department are engaged in academic activities.
